As a seasoned culinary critic and frequent traveler, I had the pleasure of experiencing a truly exceptional stay at Retreat Villa 1F in Hakone. the spacious and serene villa provided the ideal setting for a luxurious retreat, with ultra-comfortable beds and a private onsen that we indulged in daily. the impeccable hospitality extended by the multilingual staff, who effortlessly catered to our every need and provided insightful explanations of the exquisite Kaiseki meals we savored, truly set this establishment apart. the attention to detail in the room amenities was outstanding; From the complimentary drinks in the fridge to the high-quality Bluetooth speaker in the living room, every aspect was carefully curated for a premium experience. the in-room dining experience was a highlight, with a delectable Japanese breakfast and dinner that showcased the finest local ingredients. I must commend the thoughtful design of the bathroom, complete with advanced features such as auto-open/close lid, bidet, and Dyson hair dryer, exemplifying the commitment to guest satisfaction. the serene ambiance of the private outdoor onsen, overlooking the lush forest and mountains, provided a tranquil escape like no other. Retreat Villa 1F exceeded all my expectations, offering a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese hospitality and modern comforts that left me thoroughly impressed and eager to return for another extraordinary stay in the future.
